saturday morningOh, like a kid again!  Starry-eyed wonder at the rarity of rain.  Perfect round mirrors  Each forms a crown as it shatters into a pool of itself.  Curious eyes and quenched flora  Dancing in the reflection  Set on a backdrop of sidewalk-silver sky.  Droplets, like so many lingering kisses  Adorn waxen leaves  Eventually evaporating.  Criss-crossing trickles of water cling  To a brick wall, a tree trunk, my nose,  As an infant clings to her mother's breast.  The feeling of clean air,  
Of the dust and grime washed out of every breath  Is like nothing else.  My mind saturday morning

bad habitthose little bad habits that i can't expect you to remember  they get to me, every little one  tiny white lies with no silver lining  rainclouds in disguise  swelling, fatter, fatter  'till it bursts.  it's another problem  
a thousand a million, does it really matter?  when i'm crying again  you're lying again  i need to start dying again  but i'm trying again  to be wise  patient  understanding  i'm trying so hard, but i can always tell when it's going to happen  it feels like rain, it feels like thunder  and i'm caught  surrounded, inside this goliath bad habit
